Midwest Cylinder has expanded into a larger, state-of-the-art facility, enhancing production capacity and customer service to better serve a growing client base. We provide full-service cylinder re-certification, repair, blasting, painting, and logistics for high-pressure, low-pressure, acetylene, aluminum, and cryogenic cylinders.

In 2023, Midwest Cylinder officially merged with Kaplan Industries and is now a proud division of Kaplan Industries. This union strengthens our capabilities, allowing us to better serve our customers with expanded resources and expertise.

For over 35 years, Midwest Cylinder has been a trusted leader in total cylinder services and qualification, strictly adhering to D.O.T. CFR-49 compliance. Since new ownership in 2004, we’ve grown into a larger, modern facility that boosts our production capacity and customer support.

Our facility is equipped with multiple steel shot blasters, hydrostatic and ultrasonic test stations, and dedicated paint lines, featuring separate areas for medical and industrial cylinders to ensure the highest quality. We offer comprehensive services including cylinder re-certification, steel blasting and painting, aluminum refurbishment, and cryogenic repair.
